The caliper is a component that applies force to the brake disc protruding from the outside of the brake pad. The hydraulic pressure generated by the brake master cylinder is on the piston inside the caliper. After the piston expands, the brake pad will be pushed to the brake disc, which can strengthen the brake performance. Calipers can be divided into "non meter calipers" and "meter calipers".
